Pulse cores are definitely better than cinder cores in almost all situations. Pulse cores give you an xp boost to whatever you're doing, cinder cores simply burns your bonus xp faster. About the only situation I can think of where you'd want to use a cinder core over a pulse core is one where your bonus xp is at or close to half your xp goal.

Whenever someone elses pulse core explodes it says i cannot receive the benefits as you currently have accepting aid from beneficial boosts from non-clan members or friends turned off, and i can't seem to find a setting to turn it on, i tried turning on and off accept aid and that's about it.
